Why should I choose Arabba for my winter sports holiday?
Because this small mountain village at an altitude of 1,612 metres is relatively snow-sure and is the ideal starting point for the most enchanting ski tours. Without having to queue, you can hop on the world-famous Sellaronda, a 40 km circuit around the Sella massif, part of the Dolomiti Superski, one of the largest ski areas in the world with its 450 lifts and 1,200 kilometres of skislopes. The First Worldwar ski tour is a seven-hour ski tour of around 82 kilometres along the Dolomite front, where Italian troops fought against Austrian Kaiserjäger troops. The tour runs along famous peaks such as Civetta, Pelmo, Tofana, Cinque Torri, Lagazuoi, Conturines, Settsass, Sassongher, Sella and Marmolada.

You can also experience pure fun on the slopes if you ski directly from Arabba to the Marmolada, the highest mountain group with a glacier in the Dolomites (3,342 m).

What if I don't ski?
With snowshoes you can hike through meadows and forests and admire the uniquely beautiful panorama of the Dolomites. A variety of ski tour options, even better when accompanied by a local mountain guide or ski instructor, allow you to come into direct contact with the natural treasures of the Dolomites.

For adrenaline lovers there is the possibility of climbing on icefalls.
