From Chalet Pradat you can reach the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites in a short time: Boè, Sassolungo, Sassongher, Conturines, Tofane, Pelmo, Civetta, Col di Lana and Lagazuoi. Some of them have war positions, trenches and tunnels, evidences of the First World War.
If you want to reach the peaks more quickly, you can use the village lifts, which are open from mid-June to mid-September. The cable cars of the Pordoi and Falzarego passes are even open from May to November.

Bikes

Chalet Pradat is located not far from the Campolongo road, which leads to the pass with the same name. Together with the Pordoi Pass (Cima Coppi), the Gardena Pass and the Sella Pass, these passes form the famous Sella Ronda.  There are other passes of astonishing beauty, with a variety of categories, in the vicinity: Falzarego Pass, Valparola, Giau, Fedaia, Staulanza, Würzjoch and many more. The world-famous Giro d'Italia passes through one or more of these passes every year. Other well-known cycling events also take place in our area, such as the Maratona dles Dolomites, the Sellaronda Bike Day, the Dolomites Bike Day and for mountain bike enthusiasts there is the Hero, the toughest and most spectacular MTB marathon in the world.
